Kitty Boggis followed up her impressive win at the Network Group International Horse Trials at Gatcombe with another success last weekend.
Boggis, from Lew, near Bampton, won the South of England event at Ardingly.
Her 3.30am start paid off with an emphatic win on Imperial Master, finishing on their dressage score of 39.6, more than ten points clear of their nearest rival.
Boggis beat more than 40 competitors, including Pippa Funnell, William Fox-Pitt and riders from eight countries.
Imperial Master belongs to Val and Peter Ryan, from whom Boggis purchased him in Ireland four years ago as an untried four-year-old.
The horse is regarded an immensely talented, but still very inexperienced, and is expected improve with time.
