Northampton boss Aidy Boothroyd said that he remained upbeat despite suffering his first defeat at the club.
Boothroyd, who started his tenure with a draw at home to Crewe last week, says that Saturday’s loss was down to individual mistakes.
“I thought we kept going and people were still working hard,” he said.
“But we are the ones that are putting ourselves in the brown stuff and making mistakes. We can blame referees, opposition, whatever, but it’s down to us.
“We can’t come to sides like this and give away goals which is what we have done today.
“We haven’t been done by two wonder goals, but have conceded goals because we were mentally on the back foot and you can’t be that.
