Devenney Cup holders Jackass Inn were given a fright by new boys AFC Cowley, eventually squeezing through to the second round with a 4-2 extra-time victory on Sunday.
Bryn Ingram gave Jackass the lead on his return to the club, but Daniel Bruno volleyed a late equaliser for Cowley to send the tie into extra-time.
Daniel Akhter then gave the underdogs the lead with a super strike, before goals from Ben Sutton, Glyn McGibbon and Lee Hedges, saved the Jackass blushes.
Francis Mapplethorpe hit a fine hat-trick as Wheatley Park came away from Kidlington Royals with a 5-2 win.
Dave Oliver and Steve Skyrme also netted for Park, with Royals replying through Andrew Wheeler and James Franklin.
Sandman cruised through with a 4-0 home win over Division 1 rivals AFC Kidlington.
An Adam Reynolds double and goals for James Stubbs and Warwick Baldwin put Sandman through.
Ellis Bicknell, Gary Lawton and Paul McNulty all netted doubles as OUP Wanderers thrashed Wheatsheaf Didcot 6-1, whose reply came from Gareth Fenton.
In league action, Abingdon Town Sunday are new Division 1 leaders as they saw off Standlake Garage 3-1.
Garage started well, going ahead when Chris Bennell's pin-point cross was con- verted by Ian Lewis.
Eddie Stephenson equalised for Town after finding space, then Gav Jones made it 2-1.
Jones added his second after the break.
There were penalties galore as AFC Oxford picked up their first point in a 3-3 home draw against Cross Keys.
Matty Tomkins hit a hat-trick, all from the spot, but Keys replied through a Tom Hemmings free-kick, with Gareth Cooper and Garry Harris also on target.
There was still time for Ben Carter to miss another penalty.
In Division 2, Dolphin came away from unbeaten Dorchester United with a 3-1 win.
Clegg Bayliss, David Norris and Charlie Budziszewski were the scorers, Gary Smith netting for Dorchester.
Rutherford Lab twice came from behind to beat Research Machines 5-3.
John Hawkins (2), Devon Bryan, Ian Bowler and Craig Gaynor were on target. Gareth Baldsworth, Simon Collett and Andy Tompkins replied.
Robin Hood opened up a three-point lead at the top of Division 3A with a 3-0 win at UYS United. Dean Mays, Darren Tasker and Paul Meredith were the scorers.
