Abingdon Utd 0, Oxford City 2: A goal in each half from Danny Keen and Alex Stewart took City through in a tight Errea Cup first-round derby.
Mark Simms forced an early save from Lee Farrow at the base of the post and Mark Jones repaid this by making Simon Tricker parry away a fierce shot at the other end.
In the 27th minute, Anthony Alleyne made the home keeper parry and the unmarked Keen headed into the top corner.
Abingdon dominated territorially in the second half but couldn't convert.
And in the 81st minute, after Stewart was brought down by Richard Pierson, he picked himself up to score from the free-kick, which took a slight deflection off the wall.
