Radley AC will stage their annual charity football match against an Oxford United XI this Sunday at Tilsley Park.
The match, which kicks off at noon, was the brainchild of club member Sam Molyneux, and is in aid of Cancer Research.
Molyneux's father, Steve, died of melanoma in 2002 and the charity match has been played every year sincey.
Sam said: "Dad was committed to athletics. He should be remembered, while money is raised for people in similar circumstances."
Alex Ahmet and United's community officer Peter Rhoades-Brown set up the match the year after Molyneux's death. It was Rhoades-Brown who suggested it should become an annual event.
This year's match will also be in memory of Leanne and Shannie Mofford, both of whom died of cystic fibrosis at the age of 21.
They were the grandchildren of Jill Slatter, a Radley coach for 34 years. Some of the money raised will go to cystic fibrosis research.
