Witney & District FA: Cassington produced an amazing extra-time fightback to knock out Premier Division outfit Aston on penalties in the first round of the Fred Ford Cup.

The game was level at 2-2 going into the extra-time period, before Aston raced into a 5-2 lead, Ben Sunblad and Phil Caswell both netting braces to add to a Jason Fuller penalty.

But Dan Kim, who had scored twice in normal time, then completed a four-timer and Chris King slotted home Cassington's fifth goal as the Division 1 side levelled the match at 5-5.

In the shoot-out, Cassy held their nerve to edge through 6-5.

Three players saw red as Witney Royals edged out visitors Combe 1-0.

The only goal came from Russell Plumb, but that was not before Royals' Matt Thompson and Combe's Sam Hibberd were sent off for foul and abusive language.

Royals were then reduced to nine men as keeper Tom Such was red-carded for a foul outside the area, but the home side held on for victory.

Division 1 side Minster Lovell also had a man dismissed as they were shocked 3-2 by Division 2 outfit Fieldtown.

In-form Nathan Harris netted a brace for Minster, but goals from Olly Whitehall, Steve Oswald and Adam Miles put Fieldtown through.

Minster had Craig Williams sent off for violent conduct.

Brize Norton had Ricky King sent off for the same reason in their 3-2 defeat against Hanborough.

Dan King and Dan Frizzell scored for Brize, but strikes from Neil Rose, Tim Osman and Dan Smith put Hanborough through.

Ducklington overturned a half-time deficit to beat FC Nomads 4-2.

Tony Wilson and Martin Bowling had given Nomads the lead, but strikes from Antony Lune, Mark Wright, Stu Coutts and Matt Kent saw Ducklington through.

Goals from Dave Cooper and Ben Clifford helped Eynsham A to a 2-1 victory against AC Finstock A.

Wootton are through after a 3-2 extra-time victory over Southrop.
