West Witney opened their Women's South League Division 2 campaign with a 3-0 win at home to Sunbury.
Witney took full advantage of the fact that Sunbury only had eight players at the start - the rest of the team were stuck in traffic.
The home side's opener came from a well-worked short corner which Sandie Anderson fired beyond the keeper.
Sunbury were relieved when the rest of the team arrived after 20 minutes. However, Becky Stack made it 2-0 just before half-time from Kelly Scott's pass.
Becky Dean completed the scoring with a reverse-stick shot.
RACHEL Lammy scored City of Oxford's goal as they drew their opening Premier 1 game in the Trysports 3 Counties League 1-1 at home to Milton Keynes.
In Premier 2, Oxford Hawks 2nd defeated Gerrards Cross 2-1 thanks to goals from Sue Clark and Jo Tolson.
