Witney Unitedwent goal crazy at Ford Meadow on Saturday as they crushed Buckingham Town with a magnificent 7-1 win in the first qualifying round of the FA Vase to book trip to Wantage Town in the next round.
United powered forward from the off, going ahead on six minutes as Robbie Wyatt powered home a header for his first goal for the club.
It was no surprise when they extended their lead after 19 minutes as Wyatt set up Danny Wise.
But Witney got a shock when Tony Joyce's long-range effort went like a bullet into the far corner to pull one back.
However, 60 seconds late the two-goal advantage was restored when Wyatt crossed for Wise to add his second.
The home side struck the crossbar twice within two minutes before the break, but normal service was resumed when a 50-yard run by Jamie Cook saw him tee up Tom Butler, whose effort hit a post.
Substitute Mark Odom netted No 4 and then set up Wise for his hat-trick, Odom going on to make it three goals in four minutes with his second.
Butler added the seventh with two minutes left.
Chipping Norton came from behind to dump Abingdon United out of the competition with a 2-1 win.
Keeper Gordon Hearmon denied Dave Skipp and Cameron Busby as Chippy called the tune early on, while at the other end, Mark Harris pushed a Tom Larman header onto a post for a corner.
From Paul Douglas's flag kick, the ball was only half-cleared to Andy Hough, who unleashed a shot that flew into the net from 20 yards.
After the break, Chippy stepped up their game and levelled in the 57th minutes when Luke Kelly gave away a penalty which Alex Volosanovs converted with ease.
Eight minutes later, Chippy were in front when Kelly tried to shepherd a ball out of play on the touchline but was robbed by Volosanovs, who cut in and fired past Hearmon.
Despite bringing on all three subs, Abingdon never looked like taking the tie to extra-time.
Clanfield put their inconsistent league form behind them and deservedly beat their South Midland League visitors Buckingham Athletic with a 1-0 win.
On a pristine playing surface, the visitors started brightly, but with man-of-the-match Eddie Everett and Nathan Radbone getting to grips in midfield, Clanfield dominated.
Lee Cooke had two efforts saved by the Buckingham keeper in the first half which remained goalless.
After the break it was all Clanfield and Cooke put them ahead in the 55th minute with a low shot into the far corner.
Aiden Winney twice went close, while Clanfield had a scare in the final minute when Buckingham had the ball in the net but the goal was disallowed for offside.
Milton United boss Gary Ackling was delighted after steering his side through to the next round with ta 3-0 victory over his home town team Highworth.
The first half provided two chances for both sides, but none of them were taken as Milton's back line of Robbie Sadler, Alex Horsman, Martin Fox and debutant Bryn Ingram stood firm.
The deadlock was broken in the 56th minute, midfielder James Clark driving low through a crowded goalmouth past keeper Nick Heritage.
Vinnie Rusher made it 2-0 on 61 minutes and any fears that Milton would allow Highworth back into the game were dispelled when Clark added his second in the 78th minute after his shot hit the bar and rebounded over the line.
Carterton held Wessex League side Moneyfields to a 1-1 draw after extra time and will try to finish the job in tomorrow night's replay in Portsmouth.
The first half was a scrappy affair with neither keeper being called upon to make any save of note, although Carterton found the side netting three times.
Moneyfields took the lead in the 57th minute when Carterton appealed in vain to the referee for a foul and Lawrence Wall raced away to score.
This seemed to galvanise the visitors and soon afterwards, Steve Avenall's shot was deflected over the keeper for the equaliser.
Steve Benbow made two great saves to send the game into extra time, but neither side could find a winner.
