Chris Dann was in top form as he won the final round of the summer's Carp League 2006 over at Rissington.
The 21 anglers found the going tough, but it still produced plenty of fish and everyone was in with a shout.
Fishing the meat close in was Dann, who put 124.8.0 of carp on the scales.
He was well clear of second-placed Andy Benwell (Predator), who fished the long pole and pellet for 86.6.0 of carp, with Steve Johnson third with 77.10.0.

The Thames Championship was attended by 138 anglers, and as I predicted a few weeks ago, the Radcot/ Clanfield area produced the winner.
Paul Glenfield (Thames Legend) was on fancied peg 42 at Clanfield, and with 23.1.0 of chub, he emerged victorious, fishing the feeder with chopped worm.
Second was Keith Glazier (Radcot AC) with 22.15.0, and third was John Robbins (Shakespeare) with 22.02.0.
Acorn Angling organised the Reg Landsbury Memorial, which was fished by 39 matchmen on Sutton Courtenay's Appleford Reach.
The Thames had a nice colour and a bit of pace after the recent rain, but it did not fish well.
Using the groundbait feeder with maggot, Lol Budd was the clear winner with 15.5.0 of skimmers.
With two bream and a tench going 12.0.0, Mark Betheridge (Acorn Angling) was second. He fished a disc float with chopped worm.
John Beesley (Isis) was third with 11.12.0, fishing the waggler and maggot for his catch of roach and perch.
The match raised £500 for Cancer Research.
Eight anglers fished Benson's Bigg Biggs (float only) match on the Thames and Benson, and the rain put a bit of life back in the river.
Using elderberries on the hook, Basil Rosier took the top place with 15.2.0 of roach.
With a net of skimmers and roach worth 13.0.0, Mick Marriott finished second on the pole and red maggot.
Feeding hempt and fishing the pole and maggot, Dave Head was third with 8.9.0 of roach.
Seven anglers fished Marston's Fred Taylor Cup, which was on the Cherwell, and it was close at the top.
The winner was Pete Clarke, who put 12.15.0 of roach and perch on the scales using the pole to caster and worm.
Clarke also landed the Golden Peg kitty worth £116.
Jim Foster had a tench plus some perch for a second-place weight of 11.3.0, while Graham Bradshaw was third with 10.13.0 taken on worm and maggot.
Yarnton & District were on the Thames at Cassington for their Roach Cup, where five fished.
The anglers were plagued by bleak, Roy Cox winning with 12.3.8.
George Thomas was second with 9.4.8 and Steve Cox third with 8.4.8.
Thomas landed the cup with 7.5.8 of roach.
The Cherwell down "The High" was the venue for Oxford Bush AC. The six members who turned up caught a total weight of 38.7.0.
Sitting on peg 17, Alan Bond took the honours with 11.2.0, including two tench.
Mark Heath was second with 9.3.0, and Tony Prescott grabbed third place with 5.6.0.
Witney AS were on the Thames at Northmoor for the SW Bridgeman Roach Cup.
The overall winner was Dean Bowerman, who weighed 7.11.0 of mixed fish taken on the long pole and maggot.
First in the Roach Cup with 5.5.0 was Martin Avons, who used ground bait and then fished the pole with maggot over the top.
Using elderberries on the hook, Bill Bryant had 3.2.0 of roach for second, and third with 2.11.0 was Bob Webb, who used the pole and feeder.
