Substitute Murray Bellis scored twice as Vale of White Horse beat Swindon 3-1 in the ESFA Under 13 Trophy first round at Swindon Supermarine.

Swindon took the lead after 20 minutes through Tommy Ouldridge, but Vale equalised almost immediately with Bellis netting with his first touch.

Kei Chamberlain fired Vale into the lead after the break, and he then crossed for Bellis to volley No 3 four minutes from time to clinch a trip to Oxford City.

Oxford cruised through with a 4-1 win at Newbury.

A Jack Tutton penalty, Jae Sharkey and Canice Carron fired Oxford into a three-goal lead at half-time.

Newbury pulled one back after the break, but Josh Tooke sealed Oxford’s win.

JAMES Ormrod’s late winner gave Vale of White Horse Under 11s a 2-1 victory over Oxford City in a friendly at Cheney School.

Oxford had opened the scoring, but Vale were level by half-time when Scott Webb netted a penalty after he had been brought down.

HENRY Hickman fired a four-timer in Oxford Academy’s 7-1 win at Gosford Hill in the ESFA Under 16 Schools’ Cup second round.

Zyron Gabbidon, Daniel Harkins and Nas Saadogo completed their tally.
