Morrells of Oxford Sunday League: Saxon Warriors booked their place in the next round of the League Cup with a hard-fought 5-3 victory against Marston Saints.
The Premier Division side were rocked when Josh Carr fired the Division 2 new-boys ahead after ten minutes.
Stewart Parsons then levelled, for last season's losing finalists, before Carl Howard gave Saxon the lead for the first time.
After the break, it looked all over for Saints as Parsons made it 3-1 with his second.
However, they did not give up and an Eddie Stephens double restored parity.
Jason Hallatt then regained Saxon's lead with an excellent individual goal, before Howard completed his brace for last season's finalists.
James Gray's second-half strike was enough to earn Northway a 1-0 win against AFC Watlington.
Sohail Ahmed fired a brace as Cowley Rovers won 3-2 at Woodchip Wanderers.
Nick Hopper was Rovers' other marksman.
Meanwhile, in the Premier Division Julian McCalmon hammered a hat-trick as title-challengers Nelson crushed Star Wanderers 9-1.
Craig Hambridge bagged a brace, while Matty Hambridge, with a 35-yard screamer, Micheas Herbert, Johnny McMahon and Tommy Heydey were also on the mark.
Simon Burton's goal from Tom Mason's cross was of little consolation to Star.
Cold Arbour signalled their title aspirations with an 11-4 victory at Six Bells Kidlington .
Paul Bough led the way with a treble, with Jefferson Harriett and Jamie Brackett both grabbing braces.
Lodis George, Craig Bloomfield, Aaron Williams and Terry Stockford completed the scoring.
Luke Holden with a double, Matty Hogarth, and Garry Parker, direct from a free kick, replied for Bells.
