Banbury Central's Mark Sykes ended his season in style by capturing the Home Counties singles title at Canterbury.
Representing Oxfordshire, Sykes, who reached the Waitrose English National Championships singles semi-finals at Worthing earlier this month, captured the area crown with a 21-15 win over Kent's Duncan Hanmore in the final.
He had earlier edged out Hagbourne's Dale Hall (Berkshire) 21-19 in the last four after beating Surrey's Ian Meyer 21-14 in the first round.
Banbury Borough's John Philpott came close to making it a double success for Oxon, finishing runner-up in the under 25 singles.
Philpott was beaten 21-10 by David Clay (Bucks) in the final.
He had squeezed through 21-20 against Middlesex's Craig Hill in the semi-finals after beating Surrey's Terry Friday 21-13 in the first round.
Oxon weren't represented in the pairs, triples and fours.
