Rocky Burton was a hat-trick hero as Graystones won 3-1 after extra time at home to Tackley in the John Fathers Oxfordshire Junior Shield first round.
Burton’s goal in normal time was cancelled out by Greg Finnemore, but the Graystones marksman scored twice more in extra time to secure victory. Eddie Dunn’s hat-trick helped Minster Lovell to a 5-0 win at Wootton Sports.
Ian Wright bagged a brace to complete their tally.
Michael Bateman hit a hat-trick in Rose Hill’s 8-0 home demolition of Shepherds Hut (Ewelme).
Justin Ford (2), Kalum Matthews, Jamie McMahon and Colin Ryan completed the rout.
FC Hollybush won 3-2 on penalties at Banbury Galaxy.
Paul Dray and Adam Perugino netted for Hollybush as normal time ended 2-2, and there was no further scoring in extra time.
