Oxford University captain John Carter leads his side for the first time at home tonight when they host University of Queensland (7.15).
Carter, who starts at No 8, is one of ten Blues in Oxford’s line-up to take on the Australian tourists.
He missed all the post-Varsity Match fixtures last season to have shoulder surgery, but returned to skipper the side on their Russian tour.
The other Blues are full back Jez Mather, wing Sean Morris, centre Harry Guinness, props Hamish Macdonald and Will Kane, hooker Gov Oliver, locks Karl Outen and Tom Evans, plus flanker Louis Mather.
Wing Luke Jones and prop Lewis Anderson, who also appeared in last year’s Twickenham victory, are on the bench.
