Carterton bowed out of the FA Cup after going down to a 3-2 defeat against Southern League Premier Division side Maidenhead United in last night's first qualifying round replay.
A crowd of 120 saw Yashwa Romeo give the Maidenhead the lead after just two minutes.
Craig O'Connor made it 2-0 to the Magpies after 25 minutes.
Steve Avenall pulled a goal in the 79th minute to give Carterton hope.
But Romeo, who didn't play in the first match, netted his second in the 84th minute.
Alex Green struck a second for the home side but it was Maidenhead who went through to earn a trip to East Thurrock in the next round.
