Luke Cuff smashed a hat-trick as Headington Amateurs put their poor league form to one side with a 4-2 win against Premier Division side Henley in the first round.
Headington went in front in the 12th minute as Liam Morbey outpaced the Henley defence to fire into the bottom corner.
Cuff dragged an effort wide soon after, before Steve Mayberry levelled for the visitors.
Early in the second half, Cuff restored Headington’s lead after being set up by Aftab Hafiz.
The same combination led to Cuff’s second and Headington’s third goal just after the hour.
As Henley threw men forwards, they were caught on the break, Cuff racing away from a static back line to complete his treble.
Henley skipper Chris Dean notched a 90th minute consolation.
Clanfield crashed out with a 3-2 defeat at Division 1 East leaders Rayners Lane.
The home side went in front in the first minute, Lawrence Yaku finding the net.
Ryan Upton doubled the lead on 15 minutes, before a controversial third virtually ended the game as a contest.
A free-kick was awarded, seemingly for a foul on Clanfield’s Jason Trinder, but the home side realised that the official had pointed in the other direction.
Taking the free-kick quickly, Paul Leslie scored at the far post from a clear offside position.
Clanfield fought back, Steve Olphert volleying home a 25-yard effort and Dan Dixon reducing the arrears further.
Lee Keyes saw a shot drift wide, while Pete Osborne had an effort cleared off the line, but they could not find an equaliser.
Abingdon Town saw off Didcot Town Res 2-1 in a dour encounter.
Mark Janes opened the scoring in the 35th minute, firing in from an acute angle, but Didcot were level within a minute as Lewis Noble equalised.
The winner came in the second half as Charlie Bough headed in Daryl Harris’s cross.
Milton United were beaten 2-1 at home by Shrivenham.

Shrivenham levelled in the 76th minute after a free-kick found Chris Cox, who headed past Milton keeper Rob Hamling.
Some sloppy defending two minutes from time allowed Kevin Tate to slot home the winner.
Letcombe beat Cricklade Town 2-1 and set up a second-round tie with Wantage Town.
After Paul Jezzard was denied by Cricklade keeper Ben Mitchell, Adam Pendell headed another effort from a corner just over the bar.
Early in the second half, Mark Brind should have given Letcombe the lead, but scuffed his shot wide.
They had an even better chance on 65 minutes when Jezzard was fouled in the box, but Adam Pendell’s spot-kick was saved by Mitchell.
Ben Reason fired Cricklade ahead against the run of play, but four minutes later, Lyle Gifford had levelled.
Pete Horswell then drilled a shot into the top corner from 15 yards to put Letcombe in front, and they held on for victory.
