Hereford Utd 0, Oxford Utd 1 (Hall 32) Rob Hall scored his second goal for Oxford United as Chris Wilder's side made it three straight away wins at Hereford today.
The on-loan West Ham forward headed home after some superb work from Liam Davis down the left just past the half-hour mark.
Davis collected a pass from Peter Leven and with seemingly nothing on, showed a great change of gear to fly past three defenders, and his inch-perfect cross was met by Hall, who had himself made a terrific near-post run, and his header hit the back of the net.
The margin of victory, however, should have been greater, with Alfie Potter missing the best chance.
A long Jake Wright pass saw the Hereford defence stop with Hall and James Constable offside, but Potter timed his run superbly, but with just Cornell to beat put his shot wide.
Constable also wasted a good chance, with the hosts offering minimal threat as they looked for an equaliser.
The closest they came to scoring with in the first half, when Ryan Clarke had to dive full stretch to deny Sam Winnall.
