AN Oxford martial arts school is to stage an international fight evening pitching top stars from England and Thailand against each other.
The Oxford Martial Arts Academy (OMAA) will host the Muay Thai evening on Saturday, October 22, with British fighters also taking on competitors from Denmark, Sweden, Ireland and Thailand.

Muay Thai, known as the “art of eight limbs”, is one of the oldest and martial arts and has featured in video games Street Fighter and Tekken.
Academy co-founder Tih-omir Lalic said: “Since we first set up OMAA in 2000 this has been our dream, to hold such an exciting and exclusive event.”
The Templars Square academy, which runs 60 martial arts classes a week, has spent £25,000 on the evening.
Tickets, priced £25 to £35, are available from the Oxford Martial Arts Academy on 01865 774998.
