ASHTON kicked off their season with a 2-1 victory at Riley B in the Gentworks Oxford & District League.
Roger Tomlin (+80) put Riley in front with a 150-107 win over Pete Fenn (+60), but Callum Vinall (+90) levelled, beating Doug Baker (+80) 150-145.
Terry Chambers (+20) wrapped up victory with a 200-150 win against Bob Hayward (+80).
Littlemore RBL saw off Eynsham by the same margin.
Jason Buck (+50) pipped Mick McCluskey by one point, 150-149, to give Littlemore the lead, before Robert Watson levelled, beating Matthew Challen 200-198.
Adam Brown (-20) secured Littlemore’s win, seeing off Roy Gascoigne (+100) 200-178.
