Dan Berwick will be aiming to win his third successive Dirt Track event at Oxford Stadium tonight (7pm), writes ROBERT PEASLEY.
More than 40 races will feature in a packed programme also containing Quads, Moto-cross bikes, and the small, but exciting Pit bikes.
It’s the latest night organised by All-Terrain Events at the stadium this year, utilising the former speedway track, withthe Dirt Track and Quad events forming part of the 2011 British Championships.
Chatham-based Berwick won the events at Oxford in April and July, which has helped him to the top of the Dirt Track overall standings. His nearest rival is Ben Millichap, from Worcestershire, who trails by six points.
Poole’s Dean Hillier looked the fastest rider in the July meeting, but a number of falls proved costly.
In the Quad event, a point separates Reading’s Carl Bunce from Danny Smith at the top of the standings.
The Pit Bike class was dominated by Mark Richardson last time around. His main opposition is again expected to come from Terry Saunters. Turnstiles open at 6pm.
Admission prices: Adults £10, Concessions £7, Children (aged 12-16) £3, accompanied children under 12 free.
