Oxford United’s group sales manager James Peterson is on the hunt for more links with youth clubs around the county.
The U’s already run a guard of honour and Saturday special packages with junior sides from across the county, but the club are hoping to increase the number of teams they deal with.
Peterson explained: “We are looking to the future and hoping to build upon our Family Club of the Year award from last year.
“Many of the teams in the area have achieved FA Charter Standard Development and we are looking to further develop relationships with these clubs and to introduce partnerships as part of a new initative between Oxford United and the community.
“We are looking to have a presence at youth clubs by attending their monthly meetings, hosting coaching seminars, special day outings for youth teams among other things.”
If your club is interested, Peterson can be contacted on 01865 337514 or by emailing jpeterson@ oufc.o.uk
