FREELAND Under 15 girls were handed an OCB Excellence Award at the first of three youth presentation evenings at the Hawkwell House Hotel in Oxford.
The youngsters were honoured after they landed the Lady Taverners Under 15 national title in August.
More than 160 people attend the girls’ cricket celebration evening.
In the top age group, the under 17s, Emilia Bartram was handed the player-of-the-season prize.
Suzy Halsey, an under 15, was recognised for her outstanding contribution playing an age group up.
