- SWIFT Stirling, formerly trained by Tony Magnasco and now in the Chris Stringer kennels, showed he is no slouch, even at five-years-old, after winning an open over 715 metres at Swindon at a handsome 11-1.
- GREYHOUNDS to keep an eye on include Warbelous, trained by Richard Baker.
In two troubled trials the dog has recorded calculated 27.15 and 27.39 and looks top grade material.
Liosgarbh Way (Richard Hannan), an ex-Limerick dog, looks a good stayer in the making.
Winetavern Tadgh, a February 2010 whelp, previously un-raced, has impressed in all three trials.
