BANBURY Bulls will have an ‘honesty session’ following their 43-7 defeat at leaders Barkers Butts.
Bulls capitulated at the end of a tough match, which had seen them take a first-half lead.
No 8 Simon Brand said: “The players have called for an honesty session to ensure that this game acts as a kick-start to the rest of the season.”
Barkers gained plenty of ground through strong scrummaging and their powerful centres.
But a blindside move ended in a try for Bulls’ full back Pete Flemming, converted by captain Eddie Phillips.
Barkers led 17-7 at the break thanks to two converted tries and a penalty before their pack came on strong in the second period.
