Lee Keyes struck twice as depleted Clanfield smashed Uhlsport Hellenic League Division 1 West leaders Old Woodstock Town’s unbeaten record with a 3-1 victory.
Keyes twice went close to opening the scoring for the visitors, before Old Woodstock went ahead when Gavin Kidd headed home a free-kick in the 41st minute.
Keyes equalised after the break when he raced through the home defence and round keeper Jeff Simmonds to shoot into the empty net.
He then fired Clanfield ahead in the 80th minute after good work by John Edmunds.
Eddie Everett wrapped up the three points with a powerful shot a minute from time.
And Clanfield almost have had fourth as substitute Reece Winney’s chip found the net, but just after the referee had blown for full-time.
Shaun Jacobs’s second-half hat-trick proved in vain for Headington Amateurs as they went down 5-4 at Tytherington Rocks.
Tytherington raced into a 5-0 lead inside an hour with goals from Justin Bishop, Andy Criddle, Jason Wood, Toby Colbourne and Tony Bennett.
But Headington refused to lie down and Jacobs, who had missed a first-half penalty, hit a treble, including a spot-kick in injury time, with Ollie Zaja adding the fourth. James Robbins’s 57th-minute equaliser earned Hook Norton a 1-1 draw at home to Wootton Bassett Town.
Matt Bown’s penalty had given the visitors a 39th-minute lead.
Easington Sports went down 2-0 at lowly Lydney Town.
Adam Price and Niall Halford scored in the 39th and 58th minutes to give Lydney their first league win.
In Division 1 East, Chinnor drew 0-0 at Rayners Lane, who go top.
