Ryan Brooks fired a second-half four-timer as Ardley United stormed back from 3-0 down at half-time to win 4-3 at home to Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division leaders Oxford City Nomads.
It looked plain sailing for Nomads as Conor McDonagh netted in the fifth and 22nd minutes, before Adam Morris added a third with a spectacular volley in the 28th minute.
But Brooks turned the game on its head in the second half.
He pulled one back in the 52nd minute and seven minutes later converted a penalty awarded for handball.
Brooks completed his hat-trick with a shot which went in off a post, and then grabbed the winner from close range two minutes from time.
Nomads fall to third with Highworth Town taking over at the top following their 1-0 win at Witney Town.
Dan Hilder grabbed the decisive goal in the 40th minute.
Shrivenham slipped to a 3-1 defeat at Flackwell Heath, who move up to second.
Adam Harman, Harry Pritchard and Riccardo Cannon netted for the home side, before Shane Davis pulled one back in the 83rd minute.
Wantage Town ran out 2-0 winners at bottom club Bracknell Town.
Scott Dewar opened the scoring in the 35th minute, and Tom Butler added the second in the 53rd minute.
Jamie Martin’s 89th-minute strike sent Henley Town down to a 2-1 defeat at home to Slimbridge.
Earlier, Alex Allen’s 26th-minute opener for Henley had been cancelled out by Marvin Roberts in the 72nd minute.
Mark Bartley bagged a second-half brace as Kidlington crashed to a 3-0 defeat at Reading Town.
Ray Spence had opened the scoring for the home side in the 24th minute.
