Hannah England finished fifth in the women’s 1,500m at the final Diamond League meeting in Brussels tonight on her first outing since winning silver at the World Championships.
The 24-year-old Oxford City AC runner came from the rear of the field, but was unable to land a blow on the front-runners as USA’s Morgan Uceny took victory in 4mins 0.06secs.
England, who recorded 4.02.03, completes a busy 24 hours tomorrow when she takes part in the mile at the Newcastle City Games.
