TWO members of the Oxfordshire Bujinkai Karate Association made it a double success at the Gasshku weekend in the Brecon Beacons.
Louise Tanner, 28, from Banbury, achieved her First Dan black belt.
Tanner took on every challenge the Shodan grading presented over the four days, only sporting a few large bruises along her forearms.
The Gasshku, which is an intense annual outdoor training seminar, also saw Sempai Joel Acunin pass his Second Dan black belt.
Both Tanner and Acunin teach classes in Banbury and Adderbury, and train under Sensei Rachel Ealey from Witney Bujinkai.
