Horspath Hammers, the newly-crowned British Premier League champions, continue their quest for a perfect record this season when they take on Sandwell Lions at the village track tomorrow (2pm).
With 12 wins out of 12 so far, they have this weekend's clash and a another home meeting against Bury to emulate their 2003 championship-winning team, although they achieved the feat from ten matches.
Karol Szymanski is missing, and his place is likely to go to youngster Chris Osbourne, as neither Ryan Taylor or Rob Hunt have BPL licences and so cannot ride in the first team.
Taylor and Hunt go head to head in the final qualifying round of the South West Junior Grand Prix at Swindon today.
Hunt leads Taylor by six points as they sit top of the under 18 section, Taylor though, has won the last two rounds.
Rachel Edge, in second place in the under 16 competition, needs to better her score at Newport to put her in a good position for the finals day at Exeter next month when double Grand Prix points are on offer as the season long event comes to a climax.
Meanwhile, Horspath ran out 105-73 winners in a challenge match team at Filton where they also lent the new Bristol club Marcin Skowronek for the day.
