BB&O round-up
HARWELL got their Championship campaign off to a flier by winning 55-10 at Berkshire Shire Hall.
While there was room for improvement in their continuity play, the quality of the finishing was plain to see in five first half tries.
Mark Baker, Matt Rushden, John Froud-Davis and Joe Pigott (2) crossed over, with three Andy Lee conversions making it 31-5 at half-time.
Four more second-half tries came from Kev Wood, Baker, Rushden and Froud-Davis, with Lee converting two.
John Madley’s try, converted by Paul Costello, proved in vain as Didcot lost 34-7 to Faringdon.
