BURTON manager Paul Peschisolido was delighted with his side’s second-half display.
And the former Birmingham striker said that he, like most other League Two managers, would be overjoyed with a point at the Kassam Stadium.
“In the first half, Oxford were the best team we’ve seen,” he said.
“They passed the ball well, were fluid in their play, created numerous chances and sometimes you need to have a little bit of luck.
“I’m pleased with the result because there’s not many teams that are going to come here and win, that’s for sure.”
Peschisolido admitted he thought the decision to award his side a penalty was lucky, but thought there was a better shout in the first half.
“If I’m being honest, it probably wasn’t a foul,” he said. “But I thought there was a push on Calvin Zola in the first half that looked like it could have been, so it evened itself out.
“When we went 2-0 down it made it very difficult, but I don’t think that my team should ever be under-estimated because they have a real spirit and did very well to come back from that.”
