A first-half double from Corey Forbes inspired Abingdon Town to a convincing victory over Henley in Saturday’s UhlsportPremier Division clash.
Forbes’s first goal came after 16 minutes when he fired home a Danny Thomas cross from 12 yards.
He made it 2-0 in the 29th minute.
Following a break down the right, he fired home from an acute angle.
Five minutes after the break it was 3-0. Mark Janes’s cross-shot was deflected past keeper Henley keeper Sean Coker.
Anaclet Odhiambo sealed the win seven minutes from time with a cool finish from sub Charlie Bough’s cross.
