A goal towards the end of each half saw North Leigh to an easy 2-0 home win against Tiverton Town in Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 South & West.
In a first half of few chances, North Leigh took the lead after 41 minutes.
The move was started and finished by Andy McCabe, who fired a neat left-foot shot past keeper Chris Wright from five yards.
Only a desperate tackle prevented Elliott Osborne-Ricketts doubling the advantage before the break.
The North Leigh defence, marshalled by Tom Franklin and James Organ, was rarely troubled in the second half.
After Kieran Sanders had struck a post with a curling shot, the Millers added a second at the death.
Substitute Andy Caton beat the keeper and chipped the ball goalwards.
Although it was handled by Tiverton defender Liam Ellis, it still went in.
Referee Thomas Blanch dismissed Ellis as the last man, but strangely awarded a free-kick to Leigh instead of the goal, as he had whistled too early.
Caton took the free-kick on the edge of the box and found the corner of the net.
North Leigh: Warrell, Hole, Flanagan, Clark, Franklin, Organ, Sanders, Bowles, Mills (Caton 74), McCabe, Osborne-Ricketts. Subs not used: Willoughby, Parish, Lonsdale, Merriman.
Attendance: 63.
