Cublington go into the final weekend with a one-point lead over Horspath 2nd in MP Sports Cherwell League Division 5 after the two sides played out a tense draw on Saturday.
Ben Henderson hit 47 and Joey Todd (below) 46 in Horspath’s 154-8 from 40 overs.
Greg Jenkins took 4-54 and followed up with 38 in the home side’s reply, which was cut to 34 overs by rain.
Ben Sim added 39 and Henderson took 4-26, but neither side could force the win, with Cublington finishing on 149-9.
This weekend Cublington travel to Brackley and Horspath play host to Thame Town 2nd.

Freddie Walker whacked 126 as Challow & Childrey 2nd amassed 218-6 in 53 overs after chosing to bat at Didcot.
Tim Allen was easily the pick of the home attack, taking 5-27.
A rain delay after tea meant the home side were never really in the hunt, but Shaun Burningham’s 78 helped them stave off defeat on 180-9 from 39 overs. Dan Alderson took 3-12.

Thame Town 2nd were awarded their match against Banbury Twenty 2nd, who were unable to raise a side.
