Liam Manley took a hat-trick and finished with 6-28 from 18 overs as MP Sports Cherwell League Division 4 promotion-chasers Great & Little Tew overwhelmed Cumnor 2nd, 53 of whose 116 runs came in extras.

Robbie Catling then hit 45 and Dave Powles 34 in Tew’s 117-4, while George Glew took 3-40.

Wallingford lost at Shipton-under-Wychwood 2nd, but still climbed out of the bottom two after collecting ten bonus points.

They recovered from 36-3 to 197-6 thanks to Andy Benning (70) and Darren Grist (67).

Shipton started well through Paul Hemming’s 59 and reached 201-6 with one over to spare.

Chearsley stay top after handing a hiding to Leighton Buzzard Town 2nd, who slip below Wallingford into ninth as a result.

The leaders made 250-8 dec after 48 overs, with Neil Davies (53no), Nick Grimsdell (48) and Sam Shearer (45) all having fun.

Davies then took 5-25 as Town tumbled to 101 all out.
