Westbury made the most of Horley’s abandoned match against Great Horwood to stretch their lead at the top of Division 1 in the OCA League.

Westbury edged past Minster Lovell by three wickets to go 28 points clear.

Jack Simpson (64) helped Minster to 175-7 in a rain-reduced 35 overs.

Westbury lost regular wickets in reply, but recorded victory at 177-7, Sam Harper top-scoring with 56.

East Oxford saw off Charlbury by 13 runs despite being bowled out for only 125 as Charlbury spinner Bimalka Liyanarachchi took 4-32.

Charlbury fell to 112 all out in their reply, Malik Salim claiming 4-24.

Faringdon moved up to second in Division 2 with a four-wicket win over Stonesfield.

Tim Wyatt hit 97 not out in Stonesfield’s 187-3, before Faringdon rea-ched 188-6, Mike Hume making 75.

Chadlington secured promotion from Division 3, thanks to another one-man show from Danny Harding.

West Ilsley were bowled out for 146, which proved easy for Chadlington as Harding smashed 110 not out in their 148-4.

East & West Hendred are in the second promotion spot following their four-wicket win over Watlington.

Dismissing Watlington for 130, Hendred reached 134-6, led by Charlie Mulford’s 58 not out.

Hailey’s Division 4 title hopes hang by a thread as they fell to a 20-run defeat against Kennington.

Duncan Robson was the star for Kennington with superb figures of 8-32 as Hailey were bowled out for 121 chasing Kennington’s 141-7.

Radley go second after beating Britwell Salome by seven wickets.

Britwell posted 103-9, which Radley passed with three wickets down.

Cairns Fudge closed in on the Division 5 crown with a crushing 122-run victory over West Witney.

Tom Small top-scored with 46 in Fudge’s 189 all out, before Jamie Clark (4-11) and Guy Hatfield (4-29) helped dismiss West Witney for 67.

Wantage kept up the pressure with a five-wicket win over Chesterton.

Steve Lewis scored 107 not out in Chesterton’s 179-8, but 72 from Ben Putt helped Wantage to 181-5.

Veteran Richard Hart rolled back the years with a seven-wicket haul, but it was in vain as Horley 2nd lost by two wickets at Great Horwood 2nd.

Hart scored 48 in Horley’s 143-8, and then took 7-47 b efore James Waddington, needing four to win off the final ball from Hart, deposited it into the car park for six to clinch victory.

Wolvercote need just three more points to clinch the Division 6 title after a 31-run win over Stanton St John Willows.

They had been bowled out for only 112, but 3-18 from John Chrystal and 3-32 from Simon Burns helped to dismiss Stanton for 81.

Hanney’s five-run win at Hook Norton 2nd leaves them five points short of clinching the Division 7 title.

Hanney were bowled out for 156, Phillip Austin top-scoring with 40 and Hooky were restricted to 151-9 in reply.

John Thompson claimed 6-13 to help Risinghurst to a five-wicket win at Kidlington.

Alfie Appleton scored 108 not out as Chesterton 2nd beat Witney Swifts 2nd by 66 runs in Division 9.

Julian Easterbrook returned figures of 6-5 in 9.4 overs as Bampton beat Minster Lovell 3rd by 179 runs, Nick Pitt smashing 134 in Bampton’s 258 all out.
