OXFORDSHIRE Under 11 girls wrapped up their season in thrilling fashion with a last-ball victory over Warwickshire.
Warwickshire posted 102-2 from their 25 overs, Grace Ballinger scoring an excellent 44 not out.
But Oxfordshire’s reply was always in control as they kept up with the required rate with some excellent running between the wickets.
With four needed from the final over, the pressure was increased with two dot balls, followed by two wickets.
It came down to the final ball with one run needed, and Oxon scrambled a bye to win by four wickets to wrap up an exciting victory.
