BANBURY will be out to spoil High Wycombe’s Division 1 title celebrations when they visit the Bucks club tomorrow.
The leaders need just three points to be crowned champions, but Banbury skipper Ian Hawtin knows his men ran them close earlier in the season when left-arm spinner Luke Ryan suffered a serious finger injury.
“We can take a lot of confidence from that,” said Hawtin, who brings Ian Tew and Ollie Murrey in for the unavailable Sam Cheshire and Ashley Blanchard.
Oxford skipper Jason Harrison is targeting a top-three finish as they travel to Bishop’s Stortford.
His side ended a run of six games without a win with a four-wicket victory over Henley last week.
“Our blip was a bit longer than I anticipated, but hopefully we can finish strongly,” said Harrison, who adds Dan King to the XI.
Banbury (v High Wycombe, away): Sabin, Tew, Haupt, West, Ali, Shaw, Ryan, Hawtin (capt), Murrey, Phillips.
Oxford (v Bishop’s Stortford, away): from Sandbach, Harrison (capt), Laudat, Ferraby, Perkin, Crosby, Van Dyk, Mendis, I Evans, Geeson-Brown, Arif, King.
