Bicester Millennium’s Chris Goodfellow won the longest time trial of the season in the Beeline Cycles sponsored-Inter Club League.

He stormed to victory in 1hr 48mins 30secs over the 50-mile Southmoor course, which sees riders complete two circuits from the village to Swindon in the Oxonian Cycling Club-organised event.

Goodfellow crossed the line more than five minutes clear of Didcot Phoenix’s Phil Brown, who recorded 1.53.47.

Mark Cox (Fairly United Cycling) was third in 1.54.40.

EAMONN Deeley and Simon Drewett won Oxford City’s Hardwick Team Time trial.

They took victory in 22mins 43 secs in the ten-mile event.

CHIPPING Norton’s Rob Yeatman won a 20km junior time trial around the grounds of Blenheim Palace.

The newly-crowned Paracycling British Time Trial champion’s time of 28mins 35secs saw him finish almost two minutes clear of the field, and also gave him fifth place in the senior event.
