Former Oxford Cheetah Greg Hancock extended his lead at the top of the Speedway World Championship standings to 22 points, following the Italian Grand Prix in Terenzano on Saturday.
The 41-year-old American overcame a slow start to the meeting, to finish second in the final behind Sweden's Andreas Jonsson. Antonio Lindback was third and Kenneth Bjerre fourth.
