Wantage Tn 0, Ardley Utd 4
THREE first-half goals saw leaders Ardley record a comfortable win at Wantage.
Jason Allen's cross was completely misjudged by Wantage keeper Paul Belcher and dropped into the net.
Then Carl Standen and Adam Richmond combined to set up Chris Hill for the second.
Just before half-time, Dave Mason made it 3-0, volleying home Standen's corner.
Hill added his second after the break to complete a comfortable win for Ardley.
He was unlucky not to complete his hat-trick when a curling shot bounced off the foot of a post.
North Leigh 1, AFC Wallingford 0
WALLINGFORD'S recent run of good results came to an end with a narrow defeat at North Leigh.
The hosts started brightly, with Joe Burnell crashing a close-range volley against the crossbar in the third minute.
Wallingford had a great chance shortly after half-time when keeper Richard Barratt parried a shot as far as Aaron Baker, whose right-foot effort was cleared off the line.
Soon after, the home side took the lead when a cross from the left caused chaos in the Wallingford area, and substitute Andy Helby rifled low into the corner.
In the dying minutes, North Leigh's Liam Hope should have increased his team's lead when clean through on goal, but his shot was saved.
Harrow Hill 0, Carterton 3
CARTERTON travelled to Harrow Hill looking to get their season back on track - and did just that with three well-taken goals.
They took the lead in the tenth minute through Tony Joyce, who netted after a neat one-two with Kevin Lewis.
Mark Threlfall doubled the advantage after 61 minutes, beating three men before slotting home.
Joyce made the game safe seven minutes from time, latching onto an Alex Green pass to fire home.
Thame United 2, Shrivenham 1
THAME recorded their second successive win to lift them further away from the foot of the table.
All the goals came in the first 19 minutes.
Graham Jackson played in Nick Gibson, who unleashed a strong shot from 12 yards, easily beating Shrivenham keeper Daryl Simms in the fourth minute.
Three minutes later, left-winger Joe Da Silva received the ball on the edge of the area, beat his man, and hit a well-placed shot just inside the left post from 18 yards.
Stuart Bellinger reduced the deficit for the visitors in the 19th minute, but the second half was an anti-climax as Thame comfortably held on.
Easington Sports 5, Purton 1
EASINGTON recorded a convincing win in a Division 1 West game that was on a knife-edge until the last 25 minutes.
The new strike partnership of Adam Daley and Ricky Johnson proved fruitful for the home side, with Johnson scoring a hat-trick to give Easington three valuable points in their quest to climb the table.
Johnson opened the scoring, only for Purton to draw level with 20 minutes left.
Daley restored Easington's lead before Johnson scored twice in quick succession to complete his hat-trick - the first coming from the penalty spot after captain Russell Wilkins was brought down.
Substitute Nick Jones sealed the convincing victory when he rounded the keeper to fire into an empty net.
Ross Town 1, Letcombe 4
LETCOMBE were stunned when hosts Ross Town went ahead after only seven minutes.
But they wasted little time to draw level when Robbie Fairchild fired home.
Ian Whatley and Mark de la Coze sthen gave the visitors a comfortable lead at the break.
The second half provided opportunities at either end, but Mark Rees scored the only other goal with a great 30-yard lob.
Pewsey Vale 0, Hook Norton 0
CHANCES were at a premium and the match didn't get the goal that would have sparked it to life.
Lee Harris was clean through on goal for Hooky but shot wide.
Visiting keeper Richard Meadows came to the Brewery Boys' rescue with some good saves and Harris could have snatched victory right at the end
Eton Wick 2, Headington Am 7
HEADINGTON had two players sent off in their best win of the season in Division 1 East - but still ended the match with 11 players on the pitch.
The red cards were shown to unused substitutes after Eton Wick's Baisden received his second yellow.
His reaction to being giving his marching orders sparked a touchline fracas that resulted in the double sending-off for Amateurs.
On the pitch, Headington dominated and crushed Eton Wick with goals from Ben Baldwin (2), Chris Baker, Leon Cozier, James Gray.
Jay Hill also scored a brace on his debut for Headington - his second was the goal of the match, a great volley from outside the box.
Eton Wick forced some good saves from Nick Butcher and they did score twice after the interval, but never threatened to get back in touch
