COME on you yellows – that is the message as Oxford United today unveil their new home kit for the 2011-12 season.

After last season’s strip – which was blue and yellow stripes – caused such a stir among home supporters with many feeling there was too much blue, the U’s have reverted back to a yellow home shirt.

The new kit will be seen for the first time by supporters at the club’s Open Day, which takes place at the Kassam Stadium today.

And James Constable, United’s leading scorer for the past three seasons, believes the fans will like the new design.

“The players really like the new kit, and I’m sure the fans will too,” he said.

“Our supporters are first-class and seeing so many of our fans at grounds all over the country in our shirts always means a lot to us when we run out.

“I’m sure they will prove very popular.”

Shirts are priced at £40 for an adult, £35 for a large boys, while junior sizes cost £33.

All are available to buy today.
