Radley and St Edward’s headed the local success story at Reading Town Regatta.
The Oxfordshire schools recorded a hat-trick of wins each, while Abingdon landed two titles.
Tethys, the Oxford lightweight women, took the international 3 eights, and the other winners were Radley Mariners, Oxford Academicals and Wallingford.
Oxon junior 16 performers were well to the fore at the trials for the Britain’s match against France in London on July 10.
Abingdon’s Joel Cooper, Kristian Wood, Matthew Carter, Thomas Browne and cox Max Brittan were chosen to represent Britain in the coxed four.
Radley’s Charles Hilling, Charles Rowe, Bertie Hill and Alex Stinton will team up with St Edward’s boys Mikey Dicks, Sam Baring, Titus Morley, Sam Macdonald-Smith and cox Hamish Brewster to form GB’s eight.
Headington’s Anoushka Fenley and Franny Currie will be in the girls coxed pairs.
l Fourteen Oxon crews are taking part at this week’s Henley Royal Regatta, which ends on Sunday.
Five of them – the City of Oxford Thames Cup eight, the Abingdon School Fawley quad, the Taurus and Radley Mariners Britannia Coxed fours and the Oxford Brookes Prince Albert B coxed four – gained their entry via the qualifying races.
