Oxfordshire face a huge uphill battle in their Minor Counties Championship Western Division clash with Devon at Great & Little Tew.
Having dismissed their opponents for 251 with paceman Chad Keegan taking 6-54, Oxon slumped to 52-6 at the close.
Having lost the toss, Devon’s openers Robert Woodman and James Burke shared a stand of 60 for the first wicket.
But Keegan then took three quick wickets as Devon fell from 60-0 to 65-3.
A stand of 66 between skipper Neil Hancock and Alex Allen frustrated Oxon.
Hancock was dismissed for 63 by Keegan as Devon made 251 off 82.1 overs.
But in reply, things went from bad to worse.
Damian Shirazi was caught behind off Anning for three, before the same bowler dismissed Alex Jewell leg before.
Anning took three quickfire wickets when he bowled West as Oxon slumped to 19-3.
Chris Watling was the next to go, bowled by Craig Overton, before Lloyd Sabin nicked one behind off Chris Bradley.
To rub salt into the wounds, Jimmy Phillips left a delivery from Overton which bowled him, leaving Oxfordshire right up against it.
