Five years ago, a young angler in the making appeared in the Oxford Mail at the tender age of two-and-a-half.
It was Mitchell Foster, who took up angling when he received a magnetic fishing rod at Christmas from his grandparents and has never looked back.
The story then was about how he went fishing on the Oxford Canal at Kidlington, catching a decent bream.
Mitchell is now just over seven and still as keen as mustard, catching a nice bag of fish including this common carp, in just two hours from a lake near his home.
