Molly Ripley, from Didcot Barramundi, was the star of the show as she scooped three gold medals in the Deaf Nationals in Crawley.
The ten-year-old’s treble came in the age group 50m breaststroke (56.40secs), 50m freestyle (38.15) and 50m butterfly (48.09).
Adding to that success, Ripley also took a bronze in the 100m breaststroke (1.57.21).
Clubmate Alex Murphy, 15, continued his fine run of success, in a tournament in the Republic of Ireland.
Representing King Alfred’s School, Wantage, Murphy claimed two gold medals in the WISE (Wales, Ireland, Scotland, England) Internationals at the National Aquatic Centre in Dublin.
His first gold came in the 100m breaststroke in an Oxon and North Bucks county junior and open record time of 1min 4.81 secs.
This was also a championship and a South East regional record.
Murphy’s other gold medal came in the medley relay for England, who won the overall title.
He won the best boy trophy for his country.
l GRAHAM Cable landed the swimmer-of-the-match award as Witney’s A team finished fourth in round three of the Home Counties League at Leighton Buzzard.
Cable won the prize for the only individual Witney win in the men’s 100m breaststroke.
