FULL back James Comben kicked 13 points as Henley Hawks won 28-17 at Dings Crusaders.
Comben slotted three penalties in the opening 16 minutes, the latter after Dings’ Dave Wheeler had been yellow-carded.
Dings still led 10-9 at this stage, thanks to a Pierre Tucker try plus Steven Plummer’s penalty and conversion.
Hawks raced into a 28-10 lead, with No 8 Tom Stradwick, plus wings Christoph Bart and Tommy Haynes crossing over. Comben converted two.
Dings replied with a Tim Brockett try, converted by Plummer, while Henley flanker Barty Carson was sin-binned late on.
