DEFUNCT Oxford Cheetahs make a one-off return at the Adam Skornicki Testimonial at Wolverhampton tomorrow (4pm), writes ROBERT PEASLEY.
The meeting is a four-team tournament, also involving Wolverhampton, Belle Vue and Poole.
Skornicki rode for the Cheetahs in 2006 – their penultimate season.
The Pole enjoyed one of the best seasons of his career, notching over 300 points from 42 meetings. He memorably defeated Swindon captain Leigh Adams in a last-heat decider at Cowley.
Skornicki, the 2008 Polish champion, will ride for Oxford tomorrow alongside Australian stars Davey Watt and Adam Shields and England international Danny King.
