Leaders Fieldside A kept up their bid for the Buildbase Oxford & District Snooker League Premier Division title with a 4-2 win against Littlemore Royal British Legion A.
The result saw Fieldside four points clear of second-placed Littlemore, with three matches left.
Mick Bennett saw off Jason Buck and Karl Walker accounted for Mathhew Challen, before Littlemore’s Adam Brown salvaged some pride against Jimmy Ewers.
It was a good week for Walker who lifted the Arthur Goodwin Handicap Cup with a 2-1 win against Lee McAllister.
Although McAllister won the opener 80-31, Walker won the next 81-25 before Walker took the decider 64-44 for the cup.
