Julius Muraga hit a hat-trick as Oxfordshire Under 16s ran out 6-2 winners over Guernsey at Thame United to finish Group A runners-up in the South West Counties Youth Championship.
He opened the scoring from close range after three minutes following good work by Zac McEachran, who then dribbled through to double Oxon’s lead.
Jack Tacon pulled one back for Guernsey with a volley.
But Muraga restored Oxon’s two-goal cushion, before completing his hat-trick with another fierce drive.
Muraga set up Callum Cheal to make it 5-1 from three yeards out early in the second half.
River Marsh reduced the deficit, but Cheal set up William Vanderberge to hook the ball home and wrap up victory for Oxon.
